Billing
Open Billing from the menu under your avatar, or from the Billing tile on Home. Only the person who owns the space can see it.
What it costs
- Hobby is free. The card shows one seat.
- Pro is $7 per seat per month, or $56 per seat per year. The yearly price works out at about $4.67 per seat per month and saves $28 per seat each year.
There is no free trial. Promotion codes are accepted at checkout, and an applied discount then shows on the plan card.
Hobby
- One published booking page. You can create more pages, but only one can be live.
- One reminder per booking, sent 24 hours before the meeting to the guest and to you. See Reminders and emails.
- Share that page so people can book time with you.
What Pro adds
- Unlimited published pages
- Custom branding — your space logo and colours, under Settings → General
- Remove attribution — hide the "Powered by CallSlot" line, also under Settings → General
- Booking page customization — the confirmation page, an embedded widget and a tracking pixel
- Custom emails — write your own text for the emails guests receive
- Custom reminders — choose when reminders go out
- Multi-date series — let a guest book several dates in one go
- Teammates — one paid seat per person, on one invoice. See Members and spaces.
- API keys
A logo on a single booking page is free on both plans. It is the space-wide branding that needs Pro.
Seats
A seat is one person. An invite you have sent but nobody has accepted yet also holds a seat, so the count matches what the invite form lets you do.
- Select Manage seats on the Pro card to add or remove seats. The box shows how many of your seats are in use.
- You cannot go below the seats in use. CallSlot says: remove members first to free up seats.
- A seat change is charged straight away and prorated for the rest of the period.
- Removing a member does not lower the bill on its own. Lower the seat count under Manage seats as well.
Invoices, cards and cancelling
Select Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing page. From there you can read your invoices, change the card, switch between monthly and yearly, and cancel.
Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. The card then reads Ends with that date instead of Renews.
If a payment fails
The space keeps Pro for 5 more days and the card shows a Past due badge. Stripe keeps trying the card and emails you.
The 5 days run from the start of the unpaid billing period.
Nothing is cancelled, and Pro stays on for those 5 days. If the card goes through in that time, the open invoice is paid, there is no extra charge, and the space stays on Pro. After 5 days the space moves to Hobby.
What changes on Hobby
- Invites you have sent but nobody has accepted are deleted. This cannot be undone, so send them again after you upgrade.
- Custom branding and remove attribution are switched off, and they stay off when you return to Pro. Switch them on again yourself.
- Custom reminders are switched off, but your settings are kept and switched back on when Pro returns.
- Published pages stay live. You cannot publish another one until you are back on Pro.
- API keys, custom emails and multi-date series stop working until Pro returns.
- Teammates lose access to the space until it is back on Pro. Their seats are kept, and nobody is removed.
Complimentary Pro
Some spaces are given Pro by us. The card reads Complimentary plan. No billing needed. and Granted by CallSlot. There is nothing to pay and nothing to manage.
Selecting Upgrade to Pro on such a space tells you the space is already on Pro.
Deleting your account
- Renewals stop, and you keep the time you have already paid for.
- You have 7 days to change your mind. Renewals start again if you do.
- You cannot delete your account while you own a space that other people work in. See Members and spaces.
- You cannot upgrade an account that is waiting to be deleted.
