Terms of service
Last updated: August 16, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and CallSlot ("CallSlot", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the CallSlot scheduling service at app.callslot.app, including the website, the application and the API. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
If you accept these terms for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it, and "you" means that organisation.
The service
CallSlot is a booking system. You publish a booking page, share a link, and people pick a time that is open on your calendar. Optional features let you connect a calendar so that CallSlot can flag conflicts and write the confirmed meeting to your calendar. We add, change and remove features over time.
Your account
- You must give accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including anything done by people you invite into your space. Keep your sign-in credentials and your booking page links secure, and tell us at [email protected] promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.
- You are responsible for the personal data you put into CallSlot about other people — participant names and email addresses in particular. You confirm that you are allowed to share those details with us for the purpose of scheduling, and that you will handle responses you receive in line with applicable data protection law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use CallSlot to:
- send unsolicited bulk email, marketing blasts or any other spam, including by using invitation emails to reach people who did not ask to be invited;
- harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, or to publish unlawful, hateful or sexually exploitative content;
- infringe intellectual property rights, or share content you have no right to share;
- distribute malware, phish for credentials, or use CallSlot links as a redirect for a scam;
- probe, scan, overload or interfere with the service or its infrastructure, evade rate limits or quotas, or access accounts and data that are not yours;
- resell or white-label the service without our written agreement, or scrape it to build a competing product.
You own the content you put into CallSlot. You grant us the limited licence we need to host it, display it to the participants you share it with, back it up and otherwise operate the service. We do not screen content before it is published, but we may review, moderate or remove content, and disable links or accounts, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken or where the law requires it. Suspected spam and abuse may be actioned without prior notice.
Plans, payment and refunds
CallSlot offers a free plan and one or more paid plans. Current features and prices are shown in the app. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your space then reverts to the free plan.
- Except where the law gives you a refund right, payments are not refundable, and we do not refund partial periods.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise; you are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT or similar charge.
- We may change prices. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a change applies to your renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
- If a payment fails, we may downgrade or suspend paid features until payment succeeds.
Free plans may carry usage limits, and we may change those limits with reasonable notice.
Availability and support
We work hard to keep CallSlot available and fast, but we provide it on a best-effort basis. There is no service level agreement, no uptime guarantee and no guaranteed support response time. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Third-party services
If you sign in with a third-party identity provider, or connect a third-party service such as Google Calendar, your use of that service is governed by that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services and we cannot guarantee that their APIs will keep working the way they do today. You can disconnect them at any time.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what personal data we handle and why. It forms part of these terms.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using CallSlot and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion is scheduled with a 7-day grace period, during which you can cancel it, after which your data is permanently erased.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where it is practical to give it and immediately where it is not, if you break these terms, if your use puts the service or other users at risk, if we are required to by law, or if your account stays unpaid. Where a suspension is for a fixable problem, we will tell you what to fix. On termination your right to use the service ends and your content may be deleted.
Our intellectual property
CallSlot, its software, its design and its brand remain ours. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active, and nothing more. Feedback you send us is welcome and we may act on it freely, with no obligation to you.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent the law allows, CallSlot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that conflict detection against your calendar will be complete or accurate. You are responsible for confirming your own meetings.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill or missed meetings, even if it was warned that they were possible.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you are on the free plan, that amount is zero, and our liability is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify CallSlot against third-party claims arising from your content, from your use of the service in breach of these terms, or from your breach of applicable law — including data protection or anti-spam law — and against the reasonable costs and damages that result.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country in which you live, or of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Before starting formal proceedings, please email [email protected] so we can try to sort the problem out directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service and the law change. When we do, we update the "last updated" date at the top. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, except where a change must apply immediately for legal or security reasons. If you keep using CallSlot after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, cancel your plan and delete your account.
General
- These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service.
- If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is applied as closely to its intent as the law allows.
- Not enforcing a term once does not waive our right to enforce it later.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
