Booking pages
A booking page is the public link people use to pick a time. It stays private until you publish it. Each page has its own list of event types. It can offer one event type or several.
Create and publish
- Open Booking pages and press New booking page. Type a Title, pick the event types the page offers, then press Create.
- You land on the settings for the new page. The top section shows the page name and its public link, with a button that copies the link.
- To change the link, edit Page URL and press Save. Changing the URL breaks links you've already shared, including manage links in past emails.
- Turn on the Published switch when you are ready to share the link. Publishing also builds the times the page offers, so give it a moment before you open it.
- Hobby includes one published page. Publishing a second one stops with this message: “Your plan includes one published booking page. Upgrade to Pro to publish more, or unpublish the other page first.”
- The page name is the Title you typed when you created the page. The top section shows it but does not change it.
Nothing to book yet
A page can only offer times from the event types on its list. The notice at the top of the settings is about this page. When the list is empty it reads: “Add an event type so guests can book.”
When every event type on the list needs attention, because it has no schedule or no open times, the notice shows a warning. Fix one of them, or add an event type that is ready, and the notice goes away.
Event types on the page
The Event types section lists the event types this page offers. Guests see them in the same order as the list.
- Press Add event types to put more event types on the page. You can add an event type you host, or one whose host chose Anyone on my team on the Members page. The same rule applies to On The Fly Links.
- Each row has a status badge: Ready, No schedule, No open times or Needs fixing.
- Edit settings opens the settings of that event type. The length, schedule, notice, limits and questions live on the event type, so a change shows on every page that offers it.
- Copy link copies a link to this page with that event type already picked. The link ends in ?type= and the event type id. It shows only on a published page.
- The menu on each row has Move up, Move down, Create On The Fly Link and Remove from page. Removing an event type from a page does not delete it.
- With one event type, guests go straight to picking a time. With several, guests pick an event type first.
- Pages made before this list existed kept the event types they offered before.
Settings on the page
The settings screen has eight sections, in this order.
- The top section holds the page name, the public link with a copy button, the Published switch, and the Page URL field.
- Event types lists the event types the page offers. See Event types on the page.
- Add to your website gives you two snippets, an iframe and a script, that show this page on another site. Fields from your site picks which answers your own site fills in first. Free on every plan. See the embed guide. This is not the same as Embed below.
- Logo puts your own logo at the top of the page, in place of the CallSlot mark. JPEG or PNG. Free on every plan.
- Page description tells people what the page is for. Markdown works, up to 2000 characters. Free on every plan.
- Confirmation page sets what people see straight after they book. Pro only.
- Embed adds one widget to the confirmation page, such as a video or a survey. Pro only.
- Tracking sends a conversion event to your Meta pixel when someone books. Pro only.
The booking pages list
- Each row shows the page name, when it changed last, a Published switch and a copy button. The name opens the settings.
- The menu at the end of the row has View public page, which opens the page as a guest sees it in a new tab.
- With no pages yet the list says No booking pages yet and offers the same New booking page button.
On The Fly Links
An On The Fly Link is a private link for one guest to book one event type on one page — different from your booking page, which is public and reusable. By default it works once, and it can expire. The guest who opens it sees the same booking page look. Make one from the row menu under Event types, or from On The Fly Links.
- Each link has its own page. Click the link in the On The Fly Links list to open it. You can copy the link again from there.
- On that page you can change the uses limit, the expiry, the guest name and email, the note for the guest, and the time options. You can change the event type or the page only until someone uses the link.
- You cannot copy a link made before this update. Press Get a new link to make a new one. The old link stops working.
- Revoke stops a link at once. Bookings already made through it stay.
- If the link has expired, has already been used, or was revoked, the guest sees a short message instead of the booking form: “Sorry, this invitation has expired,” “Sorry, this invitation has already been used,” or “Sorry, this invitation was cancelled.”
- You can make a link for a multi-date series event type only when its hours and rules leave room to book every date. Otherwise the link cannot be created.
